We include every nutritious element in our food which is very important for the health of our body. Different elements like vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, proteins, fats, and mineral salts make our food nutritious. All these elements are active to meet the different needs of all the parts of the body. While the above-mentioned amounts of these elements help in keeping our body completely healthy, on the other hand, their deficiency also weakens our body and organs in the body. Among these elements, one very important element which is very important for our body is calcium. In all these elements, calcium is the only mineral and chemical element that is found the most in our body. Calcium is very important for our body's bones, cells, nerves, muscles, blood, and heart. About 99% of calcium is found only in our teeth and bones which strengthens them and the remaining 1% is present in cells, nerves, muscles, blood, and heart.

The bones and joints of our body play a vital role in walking, running, jumping, hanging, standing, and doing many types of daily activities. The higher the amount of calcium in the body, the stronger the structure of our body remains. Along with this, we are also able to do the most important action like chewing food through the teeth because of this calcium. It helps in strengthening the blood cells along with the teeth. Apart from this, calcium also performs the function of contraction of muscles, arteries and transmitting messages to the nervous system. Calcium is also needed in the parts of the body for the work of the heart towards other organs. When there is a deficiency of such an important nutrient in the body, it causes many diseases along with weakening the teeth and bones. When there is a deficiency of calcium in our body, our body makes up for it by removing calcium from our bones, due to which the lack of calcium is not detected in the early stages, but when the body does not get calcium for a long time, then it takes the form of a terrible disease.
