Ajwain

Sonth

Causes of Constipation

Symptoms of Constipation

Constipation results from a blockage in the large intestine and if it persists for weeks, may cause many other health issues like:

  • Severe persistent abdominal pain
  • Anal fissure
  • Hemorrhoids or piles
  • Fecal impaction means hardened stool stuck in the rectum or colon
  • Diverticulitis- an infection in one or more small pouches in the digestive tract
  • SUI (stress urinary incontinence)- when urine leaks with sudden pressure on the bladder.
